The Fire Marshal's Office provides direction and coordination for the activities and operations of the Longview Fire Department Fire Prevention and Investigation work group. It conducts investigations of arson and hazardous material incidents and completes inspections of City-wide buildings to enforce fire and safety code compliance. The office is also responsible for coordinating community service programs to promote safety, risk reduction, fire prevention, and disaster preparedness.
